(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 22, along with voters across the province, voters of ethnic minorities in Western Nghe An enthusiastically participated in the election day for National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels. There were many special images of highland women exercising their civil rights.

At the Quy Hop town polling station, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, the daughter of the Tho ethnic group participated in the election.

Female voters from Tung Huong and Tam Quang villages (Tuong Duong) were present at the polling station early in the morning to vote.

The polling station in Tung Huong village, Tam Quang, Tuong Duong, has 507 voters, of which 262 are female. This is a residential village where 100% of the Thai Tay Pong Co ethnic group lives.
