Early on March 23, the Singapore Prime Minister's Office announced that Lee Kuan Yew, Singapore's first Prime Minister, passed away at Singapore General Hospital at 3:18 a.m., at the age of 91.
The passing of Lee Kuan Yew has left many people and the nation of Singapore deeply saddened. He dedicated the best years of his life to contributing to and building a better Singapore.
