Early on the morning of March 23, the Singapore Prime Minister's Office announced that Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, the first Prime Minister of Singapore, passed away at Singapore General Hospital at 3:18 a.m., at the age of 91.
The passing of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew leaves much regret for the people and country of Singapore. He spent the best years of his life contributing and building a better Singapore.
