US President Donald Trump appeared at the door of the plane with his familiar blond hair and striking blue tie. He slowly walked down the stairs. At the foot of the plane, he was greeted by Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan and representatives of the two countries' diplomatic agencies.

After attending APEC in Da Nang on November 10, the US President will pay an official visit to Hanoi on November 11, participating in bilateral meetings with President Tran Dai Quang and senior Vietnamese leaders.
According to the White House announcement, President Trump will speak at the APEC CEO Summit. In his speech, the White House boss will outline the US vision for a free and open Indo-Pacific region, emphasizing the role of the region in promoting US economic prosperity.
After leaving Vietnam, he arrived in Manila, Philippines, on November 12, to attend the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the 40th anniversary of US-ASEAN relations at the US-ASEAN summit the following day.
