On the morning of February 7, 180 new soldiers were received by Regiment 764 with care, concern, respect, and warmth, considering the new soldiers as children and younger siblings in the family.
From the very first moment entering the unit, new soldiers were guided and instructed by officers at all levels enthusiastically, thoughtfully and gently. By 12 o'clock on the same day, the Regiment had successfully completed the reception of 180 new soldiers. The new soldiers were assigned to Companies 2 and 3 of Battalion 41.

Immediately after stabilizing the organization and staffing, in addition to helping soldiers get acquainted with 11 daily regimes and 3 weekly regimes, new soldiers also received extracurricular training in team command, 4 morning exercises, and were instructed by platoon and squad officers on how to fold blankets and curtains, how to arrange internal affairs, hygiene, etc.

In uniforms that still smelled of new fabric, the soldiers began to get used to the new environment with neatly folded blankets, and their pants, shirts, and towels laid out flat and neatly.
In the common house, new soldiers from different hometowns shook hands, chatted, and recognized each other as brothers and comrades. When the leader came to visit and encourage the new soldiers, the greetings of "Hello, leader, hello, leader" from the new soldiers kept ringing.

Soldier Bui Van Hieu, from Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, shared: “The first time I left my family to join the army, I was very confused at first, but when I entered the unit, the Company, Platoon, and Squad leaders welcomed me and gave me enthusiastic and thoughtful instructions. The accommodation was clean, the meals were delicious... I felt comfortable and less homesick, and loved the unit even more.”
