The Party Committee and the Regiment Command have also thoroughly grasped, trained and coached cadres at all levels and training framework cadres on the work of grasping ideology, closely following, caring for and encouraging new soldiers to overcome initial confusion and quickly adapt to the military environment; focused on unifying the content and methods of political education, training, discipline training, building a regular routine and discipline management for new soldiers.

Specifically, to give new soldiers a visual impression of the unit after joining the army, the unit proactively organizes the renovation of the system of billboards, propaganda and agitation slogans, flower beds, ornamental plants, lawns and the living environment is cared for.

The new team of cadres training soldiers has fully unified content, methods, and ways of training soldiers, always following standards of etiquette, behavior, culture, and greetings according to regulations for soldiers to learn and follow.

Along with that, invest more money to buy many sports equipment: Soccer, volleyball, chess, badminton for soldiers to have fun during breaks and holidays. Each company is equipped with 2 landline phones so that when new soldiers need information, contact their families during breaks and holidays, the unit will pay attention to and create favorable conditions for registration...

In addition, the Military Psychological and Legal Counseling Group was also established to help soldiers overcome difficulties and obstacles in life, and to equip them with more knowledge about the law, discipline, regulations and rules in the army so that new soldiers can gradually integrate and mature.

On the morning of February 7, 180 new soldiers were received by Regiment 764 with care, concern, respect, and warmth, considering the new soldiers as children and younger siblings in the family.

From the very first moment entering the unit, new soldiers were guided and instructed by officers at all levels enthusiastically, thoughtfully and gently. By 12 o'clock on the same day, the Regiment had successfully completed the reception of 180 new soldiers. The new soldiers were assigned to Companies 2 and 3 of Battalion 41.

Immediately after stabilizing the organization and staffing, in addition to helping soldiers get acquainted with 11 daily regimes and 3 weekly regimes, new soldiers also received extracurricular training in team command, 4 morning exercises, and were instructed by platoon and squad officers on how to fold blankets and curtains, how to arrange internal affairs, hygiene, etc.

In uniforms that still smelled of new fabric, the soldiers began to get used to the new environment with neatly folded blankets, and their pants, shirts, and towels laid out flat and neatly.

In the common house, new soldiers from different hometowns shook hands, chatted, and recognized each other as brothers and comrades. When the leader came to visit and encourage the new soldiers, the greetings of "Hello, leader, hello, leader" from the new soldiers kept ringing.

Soldier Bui Van Hieu, from Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, shared: “The first time I left my family to join the army, I was very confused at first, but when I entered the unit, the Company, Platoon, and Squad leaders welcomed me and gave me enthusiastic and thoughtful instructions. The accommodation was clean, the meals were delicious... I felt comfortable and less homesick, and loved the unit even more.”

Similarly, new soldier Dau Dinh Nhat, from Hoang Mai town, shared: “Before the departure day, I also learned about the military environment but could not help but worry and wonder.
