Wenger received the title in 2002 |
Despite being heavily criticised after a disappointing defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the EFL Cup, Wenger and his players are now showing a formidable face in the Premier League. Recently, Arsenal had a dramatic 1-1 draw with Tottenham. However, the draw cost Arsenal the chance to move to the top of the table when Man City had previously been held to a draw by bottom-placed Aston Villa.
At the same time as receiving the title of “Best Coach of October”, Wenger also received other good news. That is, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Hector Bellerin can return from injury. Arsenal is in the “eye of the injury storm”. In the draw with Tottenham on Sunday, the Gunners lost up to 10 important players. With the return of the above 3 players, Arsenal fans hope that Wenger will help the team continue to have a perfect month of competition.
