Coach Kim Sang-sik: ''Vietnam team will play with all their might, without backing down''
Coach Kim Sang-sik showed his determination when the Vietnamese team played Singapore again in the second leg of the 2024 ASEAN Cup semi-final at home stadium Viet Tri (Phu Tho).
At noon on December 28, sharing at a press conference before the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final at home in Viet Tri (Phu Tho), coach Kim Sang-sik said: "The tournament has a tight schedule, but my players are very focused and always ensure good spirit as well as teamwork. I thank the fans for always accompanying the Vietnamese team, and we try to repay them with victories."
Despite winning 2-0 in the first leg, coach Kim Sang-sik said that this was not a safe score. He said: "We won 2-0 in the first leg to put one foot in the final, but this is still not a big gap. The second leg will be difficult and we need to do our best to ensure a home win.

The Vietnam team has a long journey and this is just the starting point. Every player always follows the tactics and it is my honor to help create a good team."
“I believe my players will play their best, not back down, and continue to fight like we have done. With the support of the fans, I believe the Vietnamese team will play with the highest determination,” the Korean coach added.
Regarding the fact that Vietnam failed to score in the first half of the last five matches at the ASEAN Cup, coach Kim Sang-sik explained: “I don’t think this is a big problem. In the first half against Singapore, we couldn’t score, but the players played hard.

We will analyse and learn after the match, hoping to be able to counter Singapore. They play long balls well. Vietnam will have a plan for that. Vietnam created many chances and were just unlucky to turn them into goals. I have made some changes and hope to have a better first half tomorrow."
The second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnam and Singapore will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 29 at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho./.
