(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Mai Duc Chung was satisfied with the victory over India, and affirmed that the Vietnamese women's team will play their best in the third match against the Japanese women's team.

After the 3-1 victory over the Indian team, coach Mai Duc Chung expressed his joy when the Vietnamese women's team not only won in terms of score, but also in the way Huynh Nhu, Tuyet Dung and their teammates performed in this match.

Speaking after the match, coach Mai Duc Chung said:“I am very satisfied, not only with the score but also with the way the team played. The players tried very hard. I want to praise the team's overall spirit.”

Evaluating the match, coach Mai Duc Chung continued:“The Indian women’s team has made progress. Before, we had not had the opportunity to meet in an official match, only in friendly matches. However, through this match, I saw that they had developed, but their coordination was still not good. Mainly, India still made long passes into the middle. It must be said that the Vietnamese women’s team was alert to resolve many situations. Only once did we concede a goal.”

Talking about the match against the Japanese women's team on November 1, the captain of the Vietnamese women's team commented:“We will definitely have to prepare both mentally and physically. Through the two matches, the Vietnamese women's team showed good physical strength when meeting Uzbekistan and India. We held the ball more, moved actively and had good endurance. I am a bit sorry that the Lokomotiv pitch was not really good, so it affected the coordinated passes. The Japanese team played diversely, with even players. The Vietnamese women's team must prepare for all situations. I think the first thing is that we just play our best.”

Finally, Mr. Mai Duc Chung would like to thank the Vietnamese fans in Uzbekistan who have enthusiastically cheered for the team in the last two matches.“Although there were only about a dozen people, I was very touched. When the drums and the shouts of Vietnam rang out, I felt truly honored and proud. The love of Vietnamese fans is truly precious. Thank you to the Vietnamese fans who always cheer for the women's team.”
