Coach Miura imposes martial law on Vietnam Olympic players
The Japanese strategist warned that he would eliminate those who did not follow his rules.
“Coach Miura set out many very strict rules. For example, after training sessions, players are free but cannot go past 10 p.m. After that time, players must also limit their phone use to stay healthy for training,” center-back Bui Tien Dung shared with VnExpress.
The Japanese strategist even absolutely forbids players from using phones during team meetings, meals, and working with doctors when injured.

Even with his assistants, Coach Miura also has strict rules. Typically, when practicing against each other, the ball must be spread out outside the boundary line to save time. During yesterday's training session, the captain born in 1963 got angry with his assistants right in front of the players just because a piece of equipment was not placed in the right position.
“On the training ground, coach Miura is very strict. The players must move continuously according to the requirements and play with minimal touches,” added midfielder Tien Dung.
During training sessions, the Japanese coach does not allow players to touch the ball more than twice. He blows the whistle to stop anyone who violates the rules and tries again. This morning, February 26, the Japanese strategist asked the goalkeepers to repeat the throw-in at least twice because "throwing lightly like that when facing Japan will be surrounded and robbed".
