Coach Park Hang-seo suddenly sent a 'letter from the heart' to his students

On June 23, the Vietnamese team ended a one-week quarantine period in accordance with Covid-19 prevention regulations. Before saying goodbye to the players and assistants, coach Park Hang-seo wrote a letter of thanks to his colleagues and players who fought hard to make history for Vietnamese football.

"I am Coach Park Hang-seo! Through the last 3 matches of the second qualifying round, all of our members have stood together and have entered the final round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. This is the goal that we have challenged, I feel very happy about this.

The Korean captain told his players to always try their best because they all carry the pride of being a member of the team that has written a new page in the history of Vietnamese football.

Coach Park Hang-seoadmitting that the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup is extremely difficult, but the Vietnamese team will have the best preparation to enter this campaign with confidence and determination to complete the goal.

On July 1, AFC will hold the draw for the final qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia. 12 teams will be divided into 2 groups. The teams will compete in a round-robin to determine the rankings in each group. The 4 teams that finish first and second in the 2 groups will go straight to the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar Finals, while the 2 third-placed teams will compete for a play-off spot with a representative from another continent.

According to the latest FIFA rankings, the Vietnamese team is ranked 11th out of 12 teams that have qualified for the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia.
