Coach Park Hang-seo: "At least we must get 1 point" when competing with Jordan

In the press conference before the match, coach Park Hang-seo said:

"Although we are ranked second in the group after Jordan, we have also won the right to compete in the final round of the 2019 ASIAN Cup."

"Jordan is a strong team. Their players have good physique, fitness and technique. We don't have much time to prepare for the match but we know what we have to do to face Jordan."

"We always aim to win or at least get a point."

According to the Korean coach, Vietnamese football currently has many talented young players.

"They are trained through tournaments and many of them have played in the V.League."

"At the U23 Asian tournament, Vietnam won the runner-up position and we understand that Vietnamese fans have high expectations for the team."

"We will have to make double efforts in all matches and tournaments we participate in," coach Park Hang-seo emphasized.

For his part, captain Dinh Thanh Trung shared:

“The match against Jordan is very important. Whoever wins will win the group."

"Personally, I and all my teammates are determined to win this match, playing for the flag and with the spirit of Vietnam."

“To get to Jordan, the team had to go through a very long journey and had to quickly adapt to the time difference."

"However, up to now, the whole team has had good physical and mental strength to enter the match with Jordan."
