Coach Park Hang-seo renews coaching bench
(Baonghean.vn) - Not only the national team but also the coaching staff, Coach Park is rushing to introduce additional faces on the coaching bench. After the 31st SEA Games, Coach Park Hang-seo will only focus on working with the national team.
Right after AFF Cup 2020, the National TeamVietnamfarewell to doctor Choi Ju-young, who has been taking care of the players for the past 3 years. Coming to Vietnam since December 2018, the Korean "miracle doctor" has made important contributions to the rehabilitation of injuries for players in tournaments such as ASIAD, AFF Suzuki Cup, Asian Cup, U23 Asian Qualifiers to World Cup Qualifiers... Regretful farewells
Assistant coach Kim Tae-min also decided to leave the Vietnam team after a short time since August this year. He will return to Korea to take on the role of assistant head coach at the Korean U20 team. Previously, at the U23 team, Mr. Park had to say goodbye to coach Kim Han-yoon (who has just become coach of Incheon Club) and assistant coach Kim Hyun-tae, the goalkeeper coach of the Vietnamese youth teams.

These are all colleagues, teammates or students with professional qualifications in their homeland that Coach Park trusts and recommends to Vietnamese football. For a long time, Coach Park has had full authority over professional work, from choosing assistants to calling players up to the national teams. Together with the Vietnamese assistants, the Korean assistant team has worked well together to bring brilliant achievements to Vietnamese football in the past 4 years. Coach Park's mission
Thus, in early 2022, Mr. Park only has associates: Assistant Lee Young-jin and fitness coach Park Sung-gyun. Coach Lee Young-jin has long been considered Coach Park's right-hand man in training and match preparation. This forces Coach Park to build a new coaching staff, especially for the U23 Team when after the 31st SEA Games he will only hold the role of head coach of the national team. Recently, VFF officially asked Mr. Park and his representative company to introduce the new head coach of U23 Vietnam from the land of Kim Chi.

This is a very important position because this coach needs to be selected soon and start working with Coach Park at U23 Vietnam with the task of defending the championship at SEA Games 31 at home in May. A week later, U23 Vietnam will participate in the U23 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan. This is a very important task after the failure at AFF Cup 2020 and Thai and Indonesian football have introduced many impressive young faces. The new coaches will monitor to choose U21 Vietnam to supplement U23 Vietnam.
It is expected that in the near future, Mr. Park will introduce 6-8 Korean assistants to work in the coaching staff of the national team and U23 Vietnam.
