(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Park Hang-seo said that the match with U20 Korea is a good opportunity for U23 Vietnam to test some new players before the 31st SEA Games.
On the morning of April 18, at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho), the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) held a press conference before the friendly football match between U23 Vietnam and U20 Korea.

He shared: "We feel honored to be invited to compete with Coach Park Hang-seo's team. This is an important match for both teams, especiallyU23 Vietnamwhile preparing for SEA Games 31".
Speaking about the U20 Korean team, coach Kim Eun Jung said that the team currently has 6-7 players who are students and will probably play professionally. Therefore, this match will be very good to confirm the level and ability of each player.
Coach Kim Eun Jung added that U20 Korea will face an opponent 3 years older than them, U23 Vietnam, in the upcoming match. Therefore, this match will be very difficult for U20 Korea. However, the team will try to have a good performance against U23 Vietnam.

Meanwhile, coach Park Hang-seo shared: "Tomorrow's match (April 19) is an opportunity for me and the coaching staff to test some new players. Because there haven't been many opportunities for them to play, the match on April 19 is an opportunity for me to evaluate the players' level."
"U23 Vietnam also has 3 overage players. They supplement the team's shortcomings. These players have all been tested for their abilities and have a good integration process, leading their juniors on the journey to SEA Games 31. I hope they will contribute to improving the scoring ability of U23 Vietnam."
Evaluating the opponent, Coach Park said: “Korea is quite different from Vietnam, especially in community football. Korea has many players who come from school football. The U20 Korean team is a typical example. But I would like to emphasize that in addition, they also have professional players. The U20 Korean team is also younger than us. They are good opponents. In addition, at this stage, finding an international opponent is not easy, so the U20 Korean team is a very good team for the U23 Vietnam team to compete with.”
The match between U23 Vietnam and U20 Korea will take place at 7pm on April 19 at Viet Tri Stadium (Phu Tho). The two teams will then play again on April 22 at Hang Day Stadium (Hanoi)./.
