Coach Park Hang Seo breathed a sigh of relief for Van Quyet, grimaced for Huy Hung
(Baonghean.vn) - In the last training session in Laos this morning (November 9), team captain Nguyen Van Quyet was still able to practice normally. Midfielder Nguyen Huy Hung still had to practice separately with the team's doctor because he was still injured.
Despite winning 3-0 against Laos in the first match of Group A - AFF Cup 2018, the Vietnamese team did not have a break on the remaining day. Accordingly, because the team did not fly from Laos to Vietnam until 7:40 p.m., in the morning, with the support of the Lao Football Federation, Coach Park Hang Seo and his team had a 1-hour training session on two artificial turf fields of this National Federation.

According to some previously published information, captain Van Quyet suffered a minor ankle injury and had to rest for 2-3 days. Because of that injury, Van Quyet was replaced by Hung Dung in the 63rd minute of the match between Laos and Vietnam on the evening of November 8.
Fortunately, good news has come to Van Quyet and the Vietnam National Team. Because this morning, he was still able to participate in normal training, from running loosely with the main team to participating in Vietnam's closed tactical training later.
During the training session, Coach Park Hang Seo divided the team into two parts. The main players practiced a training program, the reserve players practiced a separate training program. The main group including Quang Hai, Duy Manh, Dinh Trong... mainly relaxed and recovered after the match. The reserve group including Duc Huy, Van Duc, Xuan Hung... practiced harder.

Currently, only midfielder Huy Hung still has to practice separately. The player from Quang Nam was injured before Vietnam's match with Laos and it is unclear when he will be able to participate in normal training again.
At 7:40 p.m. tonight, the Vietnam team will fly back to Vietnam from Laos. On November 16, Vietnam will meet Malaysia at My Dinh National Stadium.
