Coach Park Hang-seo tests squad to prepare for match against Australia

The Vietnam team had their second training session in Australia. In the first session, the players were able to release their inertia and practice maintaining their ball feel.

In this training session, the Vietnamese team moved on to tactics, checking the lineup to select personnel for the rematch with Australia. Coach Park divided the team into two opposing lineups on the entire field, and assigned assistant Lee Young-jin to directly direct the implementation of tactics during the two teams' competition.

The players must try their best for the entire 30 minutes. They need to show their full potential to be selected by Coach Park. After the AFF Cup 2020, Coach Park is determined to renew the team. Therefore, the opportunity for new players such as Nguyen Huu Tuan, Nguyen Duc Chien, and To Van Vu is higher.

During most of the training session, Coach Park Hang-seo just stood on the sidelines to observe his players' performance. He needs to have more specific assessments of the methods being tested.

Real Madrid escaped defeat against Elche, Barca narrowly won against Alaves

Real Madrid almost lost when hosting Elche while Barca had to struggle to get 3 points at Alaves in the 22nd round of La Liga 2021/2022 which took place last night and early this morning (January 24).

Real Madrid also had a golden chance to open the scoring when Vinicius Junior won a penalty in the 32nd minute. However, Karim Benzema shot the ball over the crossbar from 11m away.

Ten minutes after Karim Benzema's miss, Real Madrid were dealt a blow when Lucas Boye headed home the opener for the visitors. Elche not only took the lead but also doubled their lead with Pere Milla's cross in the 76th minute.

However, Real Madrid missed the opportunity to widen the gap with second-placed Sevilla from 4 points to 7 points. Because, before Real Madrid entered the match to welcome Elche, Sevilla was held to a 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo.

Vietnam women's team receives great news before match against Japan

The Vietnam women's team has been supplemented with two more players from Spain before the match against Japan in Group C of the 2022 Asian Cup.

According to the VFF announcement, on the afternoon of January 23, 2 players and 3 more officials of the Vietnamese women's team traveled from Spain to India to join the whole team.

Currently, only 1 player and 1 team official are still in Spain, waiting for the results of the next test to join the team. More importantly, 5 members of the Vietnamese women's team who just arrived in India all tested negative for Covid-19.

Thus, coach Mai Duc Chung will have more personnel options for the match against Japan on the afternoon of January 24. After the match against the Korean Women's team, Mai Duc Chung praised the fighting spirit of his players.
