Coach Park continues to be honored; Thailand U23 super attack squad arrives in Vietnam

Coach Park was honored with the 2018 Fair Play Award

Last night (March 11), Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper held the Fair Play 2018 award ceremony. Here, Coach Park Hang-seo was honored for his contributions to football over the past year.

In addition, the first prize of this program went to 4 players Bui Tien Dung, Doan Van Hau, Ha Duc Chinh, Nguyen Quang Hai when they participated in the program 7th Wish, making the little dream of Tom who had brain cancer since he was 33 months old come true.

Second prize is the image of U23 Vietnam players clearing snow to help midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai make a super free kick into the U23 Uzbekistan net.

The third, fourth and fifth prizes respectively went to Defender Do Duy Manh for his act of planting the flag in Changzhou during the U23 Asian Cup final; Striker Nguyen Anh Duc for his act of preventing fans from throwing bottles to protest the referee during the match against Malaysia in the AFF Cup; and the Vietnamese national team celebrating a goal in the match against Cambodia with Van Toan's number 9 shirt.

U23 Thailand plays U23 Vietnam with a super attacking lineup

Recently, the head coach of Thailand U23, Mr. Alexander Gama, announced the official list of 23 names who will go to Vietnam to participate in the 2020 AFC U23 Championship qualifiers in Vietnam. Among the selected players, many names can be recognized who participated in the recent Southeast Asian U22 Championship, especially in the defense such as Italian-Thai center-back Marco Bailini, center-back Chatchai Saengdao and Saringkan Promsupa.

Meanwhile, in attack, Mr. Alexander Gama has many promising options with names that are considered the top young talents of Thai football at present such as Supachai Jaided, Supachok Sarachat, Supanat Mueanta or Rattanakorn Maikami. All of these players are playing for Buriram United - the reigning Thai League champion and where Vietnam national team midfielder Luong Xuan Truong is playing.

Roma 2-1 Empoli: Ranieri's first win

In round 27 of Serie A, Roma won 2-1 against Empoli as a meaningful gift for new coach Claudio Ranieri.

In the remaining time, Roma suffered a numerical disadvantage when Florenzi was sent off for receiving two yellow cards. However, with the spirit of a top team, Giallorossi still knew how to preserve the fragile 2-1 victory over Empoli, thereby marking a favorable debut day for coach Claudio Ranieri.

Zidane reveals reason for returning to Real

Last night, Real Madrid surprised everyone by sacking coach Santiago Solari and re-appointing Zinedine Zidane. The French strategist's contract runs until 2022. Zidane revealed the reason why he returned to lead Real after leaving here 9 months ago.

“This club needs a change after the previous years of success. That is what I think and that is what will happen in the future,” Zidane said. “President Florentino Perez called me and asked me to coach Real Madrid again. I am very happy to be back. MU buys young Serie A star

The Mirror newspaper said that MU is closely monitoring the young Italian star, Davide Calabri of AC Milan, with the goal of succeeding Antonio Valencia.

The Ecuadorian captain will leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, after 10 years at the club. The Red Devils have decided not to activate the automatic 12-month extension clause for the defender, who will turn 34 in August.

Calabria enjoyed an impressive 2018/19 campaign with AC Milan. The 22-year-old defender is a product of the club's academy, playing for Italy's under-17s and under-21s.

The young Serie A star has made 26 appearances in all competitions for AC Milan this season, playing more and more maturely, contributing to coach Gattuso's team's fight for a place in the Champions League next season.

Neymar was caught by the tax authorities

According to El Mundo, the Spanish tax authorities have asked the Barcelona Labor Court to send them documents relating to Neymar's pre-contract bonus with Barca before his move to PSG. The paper says the authorities are seeking to confirm whether the bonus, as well as the deal that brought the Brazilian to France in 2017, was properly taxed under Spanish law.

After signing for Barca in 2016, Neymar was guaranteed a loyalty bonus of £55.3m. A year later he joined PSG for a fee of £190m and the Ligue 1 giants activated his release clause.

PSG sent documents related to the deal to the Spanish tax authorities but some of the figures were covered up. PSG said the payments were confidential and the court ordered them to send another copy with clearer figures.

El Mundo added that Barca paid Neymar £20.4m in bonuses but asked him to repay the money after joining PSG. The Camp Nou club want Neymar to repay the principal and interest, which totals £64m. Meanwhile, Neymar wants Barca to pay the remaining fee.

“Fabregas' successor” leaves Arsenal

Gedion Zelalem, the young star who was once expected to be Arsenal's "new Cecs Fabregas", has officially joined the American MLS team, Sporting Kansas City, on a free transfer. The 22-year-old American midfielder has only made 4 appearances in nearly 6 seasons with the Gunners. He was also loaned to Rangers (Scotland) and VVV-Venlo (Netherlands) but did not leave much of an impression.
