Currently, the VFF National Teams Department is continuing to contact the clubs to complete the paperwork for all players on the preliminary list, ensuring that all are ready in case they are officially called up to the Vietnam National Team.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese team will gather in Hanoi starting from October 11. On October 16, the team will leave for Korea to train at the Paju Sports Center and play 3 friendly matches there.

On October 30, the team will return home to continue training, complete final preparations and finalize the official list of 23 players before entering the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 campaign.

At the AFF Suzuki Cup 2018, the Vietnam national team will open the group stage with a trip to Laos on November 8 before returning home to host Malaysia on November 16. After that, coach Park Hang-seo and his team will visit Myanmar on November 20 and play the final group stage match at home against Cambodia on November 24.

Following the request to use foreign referees from the representative of Nam Dinh Club, VPF will invite a team of Malaysian referees to officiate the match considered as the reverse final between XSKT Can Tho and Nam Dinh in round 26 of V-League 2018.

This information has been confirmed by VPF President, Mr. Tran Anh Tu. However, he also said that he will not reveal the identity of this referee team in the coming days.
