Coach Miura affirmed that he and his players are not under any pressure in the upcoming U23 Asian qualifiers even though in the first match, U23 Vietnam will have to face host U23 Malaysia.

This morning, March 25, the U23 Vietnam team had their third training session in Malaysia. In the hot weather, the players tried to follow the instructions of coach Toshiya Miura.

Mr. Miura affirmed that he and the U23 Vietnam players are not under pressure.

Coach Miura asked his players to practice attacking the flanks a lot, but the Japanese coach had to stop the training session many times and make corrections after missed shots or complicated handling.

In an interview after the training session of the Vietnam U23 team on the morning of March 25, Coach Miura said: “The players have become increasingly compatible with each other in training. After more than a month of preparation, the whole team is physically ready, their techniques and tactics are gradually improving and they are ready for the upcoming matches.

We are not under any pressure. Like previous tournaments, I always prepare fully and want the players to play their best to get the best results."

Evaluating the opponent U23 Malaysia in the first match on March 27, Coach Miura affirmed: “Malaysia is a strong team and will play at home, but we have a lot of information about them. I think the level of the teams in Southeast Asia is quite similar. The U23 Vietnam team is ready for this match.”
