Coach Troussier frees his students' mentality, ready to challenge U23 UAE

On the evening of March 24, U23 Vietnam had a training session to prepare for the match with U23 UAE. The French captain also encouraged the whole team to be mentally relaxed for the match against U23 UAE, not to worry too much about the result of winning or losing, because after all, it will continue to be a match of trials and a quality test to evaluate the results of the recent training process.
Coach Philippe Trousser emphasized that the main goal of U23 Vietnam is SEA Games 32 and the U23 Doha Cup is only a stepping stone in the preparation process. Earlier in the morning, coach Philippe Troussier had a meeting with the entire team to review experiences. According to midfielder Nguyen Duc Viet, the French coach asked the players to play faster, show more enthusiasm and fighting spirit.
Duc Viet said: “If we have enough players, I don’t think we can say that we can play on par with them, but we can implement our own style of play and follow the tactics set out by the coach. This is just a friendly tournament, we also need to learn and improve a lot. Mistakes are also lessons for us to try to improve and look towards the future.”
