After a period of active preparation, Nghe An General Friendship Hospital - the final hospital of the North Central region will officially deploy and store electronic medical records from September 1, 2025.

Nghe An requires medical examination and treatment facilities to quickly deploy and complete electronic medical records.

Nghe An Department of Health requires 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities in the province to deploy electronic medical records before August 31, 2025.
Medical facilities begin applying electronic medical records from March 1

From March 1, 2019, medical facilities will begin applying Electronic Medical Records, including inpatient medical records, outpatient medical records and other types of medical records as prescribed by the Ministry of Health.
