Support for upgrading mental health care facilities
This information is stated in Joint Circular 115/2012/TTLT-BTC-BLDTBXH regulating the management and use of funds to implement the Project on social assistance and rehabilitation for people with mental illness and people with mental disorders based on the community for the period 2011-2020.
The Circular stipulates that one of the important expenditure contents of the Project is to support facilities and equipment for social protection facilities to care for and rehabilitate mentally ill people from the social security career capital source of the central budget.
Accordingly, targeted support for local budgets to upgrade, expand, increase capacity and purchase specialized equipment for social protection facilities providing care and rehabilitation for people with mental illness with a maximum support level of VND 10,000 million/facility for the Project to upgrade, expand and increase capacity of social protection facilities providing care and rehabilitation for people with mental illness from 300 to 500 subjects.
For the project to purchase specialized equipment and initial supplies for newly completed social protection facilities for care and rehabilitation of mentally ill people, the maximum support level is 5,000 million VND/facility.
Maximum support of 2,000 million VND/facility for the Project of purchasing specialized equipment for social protection facilities to provide care and rehabilitation for people with mental illness.
The state budget ensures regular operating expenses for social protection facilities providing care and rehabilitation for mentally ill people and facilities for preventing and treating mental disorders according to the budget allocation of the State Budget Law.
This Circular takes effect from September 3, 2012 and is applied from the 2012 budget year.
