Ms. Nhan, over 40 years old this year, is the mother of two children but is not as agile as a normal person and always needs support in daily work. The only relative who can help her is Mrs. Su, her mother-in-law, now nearly 60 years old, with poor health and a small stature. Mrs. Su also has to take care of her younger brother who has suffered from polyarthritis and muscular atrophy since he was 12 years old. For over 40 years, all of her brother's personal activities have been completely dependent on her.

Ms. Nhan’s husband suffers from mental illness and is currently being cared for at the An Ton Shelter Center in Yen Thanh District. Her family does not have a stable income, living solely on two acres of rice fields and support and sharing from neighbors. However, her greatest consolation is that her two children, Duc and Phuc, are both healthy, normal and of school age.

With the spirit of “Happiness is sharing, giving is forever,” the group of friends donated a pair of breeding goats worth 6 million VND to support Ms. Nhan’s family, hoping to help the family create a livelihood, while also helping the two children have the opportunity to continue going to school. The group also gave a Tet gift worth 1 million VND. Although the material value is not large, the gift has a deep spiritual meaning, promptly encouraging the family to overcome the current difficulties and have a warmer Spring.
