Support for building "Red Scarf" house in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 13, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented money to support the construction of a "Red Scarf" house for the family of Tran Bien Tung - a student at Cong Thanh Secondary School, Yen Thanh District.

Tran Bien Tung is the son of Mr. Tran Khac Sau and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hoa, a Catholic family in Ngoc Thuong hamlet, Cong Thanh commune, and is in a particularly difficult situation. However, overcoming his circumstances, Tran Bien Tung has excelled in his studies, achieving the title of excellent student and excellent team leader for 5 consecutive years.

Representatives of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council presented money and gifts to Tran Bien Tung's family.

After nearly 5 months of construction, the 4-room “Red Scarf” house with a usable area of ​​over 80 square meters was completed and put into use. The cost of raw materials was over 200 million VND, not including the family’s labor days, the help of relatives, neighbors, and local departments, agencies, organizations, and about 150 million VND.

Presenting the support amount of 50 million VND and gifts to the family, the representative of the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council hoped that the family would promote the tradition of their homeland, live a good life, follow the Party and State's policies, and hope that Tran Bien Tung would continue to strive to study well, become a good child, a good student, and a good grandchild of Uncle Ho./.
