Thai transgender beauty queen registers for military service

Issaree "Natt" Mungman - Miss Transgender Thailand recently posted on her personal page a series of photos of her going to the military recruitment examination and shared: "Performing the duties of a Thai man. Thank you to all the soldiers. I was treated very kindly. Everything went well."
According to the regulations of the "Land of the Golden Pagodas", all male citizens (including transgender people) aged 21 and over must register at local Military Centers. Normal young men serve in the army for between 6 months and 2 years, depending on their level of education. Meanwhile, those who can prove that they are transgender will be exempted from military service, but still have to present themselves and take the medical examination.Natt was born in the districtKao Panom, so on the morning of April 3, she came here to do the required procedures.
