Miss Ky Duyen is a judge of Ao Dai Charm 2016

Within the framework of the 2016 Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival, Miss Ky Duyen will be a judge for the program Ao Dai Charm.

Along with Ky Duyen, on the hot seat of the contest "Ao Dai Charm 2016 - Shining Vietnamese Beauty" within the framework of the Ao Dai Festival in Ho Chi Minh City 2016, there are also designer Si Hoang, photographer Pham Hoai Nam and other experts.

Sharing about accepting to be a judge, Miss Ky Duyen said: “I really love the Vietnamese ao dai. When I wear ao dai, I feel more feminine, graceful and beautiful. I am honored to be a judge of the Ao Dai Charming Contest, accompanying the judges who have a lot of experience in judging beauty contests, choosing excellent candidates to represent the beauty of the city's ao dai. I also believe that the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival will create a vibrant, brilliant atmosphere, both honoring the ao dai and honoring women this March. The contest will be an opportunity for women to have more confident experiences on stage as well as in life.”

The “Ao Dai Charm” contest is one of the outstanding activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival. In previous years, the contest has attracted a large number of young people and groups to participate, becoming one of the activities that attracts the greatest attention of the city's people. Vietnamese Ao Dai is a part of the soul and beauty of Vietnam. The “Ao Dai Charm 2016 - Shining Vietnamese Beauty” contest seeks outstanding beauties, representing the beauty of Vietnamese women in traditional Ao Dai, honoring the traditional beauty of Vietnamese women.

The Ao Dai performance competition is divided into 3 categories: Groups, individuals and diplomatic missions; participants include schools, students, families, businesses, Consulates General, and Foreign Business Associations in Ho Chi Minh City. The expected number of participants is 500.

Along with the "Charming Ao Dai" contest, the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival also has outstanding activities such as talks about Ao Dai, photo exhibition "Ao Dai through the ages" at the Fine Arts Museum, Ao Dai Museum, War Remnants Museum, organizing Ao Dai Fair, Ao Dai drawing contest on paper, "Charming Ao Dai" photo contest on the Organizing Committee's website, organizing Ao Dai design contest for students of universities in the city, organizing a flower arrangement contest on Ao Dai and Ao Dai flower performance for Vietnamese and international flower designers.

The opening ceremony and art program “Ao Dai – Endless Beauty” will take place at 9am on March 8 at the Youth Cultural House (HCMC)./.
