Emily Tatanga Kachote lost her crown a few weeks after her coronation. The title was passed on to the beautiful Annie Grace Matambu.

Emily Tatanga Kachote was crowned Miss World Zimbabwe on the evening of April 26. The beauty is a 25-year-old financial consultant, 1.73 m tall. Shortly after her coronation, many sources were abuzz with reports that nude photos of Emily had appeared on social media.

After about five weeks of investigation, the pageant's organizers officially stripped the beauty queen of her crown on June 10. The announcement from the Miss Zimbabwe pageant's organizers said the beauty queen had violated the pageant's rules and commitments to integrity.

"Miss Zimbabwe confirms that Emily Kachote has been stripped of her crown. Earlier this month, one of the local newspapers revealed that nude photos of Emily had appeared on a forum. This article appeared shortly after Emily admitted that she had posed nude. This was in violation of the pageant's rules and the integrity pledge that all contestants signed," the statement read.

The pageant's integrity pledge states: "The winner of the Miss World Zimbabwe beauty pageant, regardless of title or runner-up, is not allowed to have professional or spontaneous nude photographs appear in any form of media."

First runner-up - Annie Grace Matambu - replaced Emily Kachote. Annie Mutambu will represent Zimbabwe at Miss World 2015 which will take place on December 19 at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, Hainan, China.

Emily Tatanga Kachote shares the same fate as Thabiso Phiri, who was crowned Miss Zimbabwe 2014 and had her crown revoked in a similar scandal last year.
