Fire burns down stilt house on New Year's morning

According to witnesses, at around 8am this morning, a fire broke out from the stilt house of Mr. Nguyen Huu Tich's family in Hamlet 7, Thanh Son Commune (Anh Son). The fire grew higher and higher, then spread to the two neighboring houses, causing panic.

Local residents quickly came to the rescue, helping families evacuate their belongings. Firefighters and specialized fire trucks were also dispatched, but due to the remote location and difficult access, they were unable to quickly extinguish the fire.

The initial cause was determined to be an electrical short circuit. The damage is estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dong. Currently, the authorities are investigating and handling the incident.
