Magnolia flower cures cough
According to Oriental medicine, magnolia flowers are slightly warm, bitter, and spicy, and are effective in treating coughs, difficulty urinating, bloating, nausea, fever, and high blood pressure...
The medicinal part is the magnolia flower buds when they are not yet in bloom, harvested, dried in the shade until dry, and stored for later use.
Below are some remedies from magnolia flowers.
Cough treatment: 30g magnolia flowers, 40g honey, put both in a bowl, steam for about 20-30 minutes then take out to eat.
Anti-cough, expectorant, diuretic: 15g magnolia flower, 2 pieces of sea cucumber skin, 1 watermelon, 1 carrot, 5 garlic cloves, 15ml white vinegar, 5ml perfume, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon sugar. Wash magnolia flower, peel off petals and chop finely. Soak sea cucumber skin, wash and remove fishy smell. Wash melon, remove stem and chop finely. Peel and chop carrots. Mix the above ingredients, add spices, then put the chopped magnolia flower on top, pour enough water, boil and drink 1 dose per day.

Cure cough, sore throat:
Take 20g of dried magnolia flowers, soak them in honey for 3 days, then brew and drink as tea. This remedy is effective in treating coughs caused by colds, headaches, dizziness, and chest pain.
Cure whooping cough: 8 white magnolia flowers, 10g lemon leaves, 3g ginger. Boil and drink 1 dose per day, divided into 3 times. Drink for 5 consecutive days.
Cure bronchitis: 7 white magnolia flowers, 5 white rose flowers, 15ml honey. Put all in a bowl and steam, divide into 3 doses to drink during the day. Drink continuously for 3-5 days.
Skin softening, digestion stimulating: 6g magnolia flowers, 1 teaspoon green tea. Wash magnolia flowers with salt water, shake to drain, put in a bowl. Pour boiling water into the bowl, then add green tea. Steep and drink instead of tea during the day.
