Concert "Our Fatherland" with works that have gone through the years of Vietnamese music.
To celebrate the fourth Vietnam Music Day (September 3), many artistic activities were held in provinces and cities across the country. In particular, the concert “Our Fatherland” with works that have accompanied the years of Vietnamese music was performed on the evening of September 3 at the Opera House, Hanoi.
Speaking at the concert celebrating Vietnam Music Day, musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians Association, said that on September 3, 53 years ago, Uncle Ho led the choir and orchestra together with the people to sing the song "Solidarity" at the gala celebrating the 3rd Party Congress and the 15th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

The image of Uncle Ho leading the way to the song "Solidarity" has become a symbol of Vietnamese culture, Vietnamese music, a symbol of solidarity and friendship among nations.
Vietnam Music Day was first held in 2010. Up to now, Vietnam Music Day has become a festival for music lovers nationwide.
Musician Do Hong Quan said: “This year, Vietnam Music Day activities are taking place enthusiastically in many provinces and cities across the country. Celebrating Vietnam Music Day this year is even more meaningful, as the literary and artistic community across the country has just celebrated the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Union of Literary Associations; summarizing 15 years of implementing the 8th Central Resolution and 5 years of implementing Resolution 23 of the Politburo on continuing to build and develop literature and art in the new period”.
With the aim of honoring generations of revolutionary musicians and true musical values, the concert celebrating the 4th Vietnam Music Day performed typical works of Vietnamese music such as: National Anthem, by musician Van Cao; Our Fatherland, composed by Ho Bac; Guerrilla of Thao River, by Do Nhuan; Thang Long, a thousand years of reunion, by musician Nguyen Thieu Hoa; Hanoi People, composed by Nguyen Dinh Thi...
Along with the concert at the Opera House, many other musical performances also took place at Ba Dinh Square, the stage in front of Ba Kieu Temple... with the participation of the Vietnam National Opera and Ballet Theater, the Military University of Culture and Arts, the Thang Long Music and Dance Theater, the Army Ceremonial Band...
The highlight of the 4th Vietnam Music Day is the presence of famous works by two authors who received the Ho Chi Minh Prize for Literature and Arts, writer-musician Nguyen Dinh Thi and musician Van Cao./.
