Jasmine cures insomnia

According to Oriental medicine, jasmine has a neutral, slightly cold, bitter taste and has the effect of clearing heat, detoxifying, promoting urination, reducing swelling, activating blood circulation and especially curing insomnia.

The parts used as medicine are the flowers and roots of jasmine. Here are some effects of jasmine:

-Cure insomnia:6g jasmine, 8g lotus heart. Steep jasmine and lotus heart in boiling water, drink many times a day. Drink continuously for 7-10 days to see clear results. Or 10g jasmine, 20g dandelion, 20g honeysuckle, 10g licorice, boil and drink 1 dose a day, divided into 2-3 times, drink continuously for 7 days.

-Treatment of swelling and pain due to injury:Jasmine root 12g, Chinese jujube leaves 12g, licorice root 16g. Boil and drink one dose per day.

-Treatment of high blood pressure:Jasmine 10g, Sophora jasmine 10g, Chrysanthemum 6g, Plumeria 6g. Boil with three bowls of water until there is one bowl left, divide into two doses to drink during the day, in the morning and evening after meals. Each course lasts 10 days.

-Treating prickly heat:Jasmine leaves 50g, Indian pennywort leaves 20g, mugwort leaves 30g. Boil in water and drink 1 dose per day, divided into 2-3 times. Drink continuously for 3-5 days.

-Treatment of frequent urination:Jasmine 5g, ginkgo biloba 3g, boil with 3 bowls of water for 1 hour. Drink 2 times a day for 7 days.

-Treatment of diarrhea:Jasmine 6 g, green tea 10 g, cardamom 3 g, guava bark 3 g.

How to use: Boil the above 4 ingredients with 600 ml of water until 200 ml remains, divide into 3 doses to drink during the day, after meals. Drink continuously for 3 days.

Or jasmine 10g, pomegranate peel 10g, licorice 16g. Boil and drink 1 dose per day, divided into 2-3 times. Drink for 4 days.

Note:Pregnant and lactating women should not use jasmine root./.
