Russia's Iskander missile, nicknamed "the god of fire," is becoming more dangerous than ever.
"The Iskander-M has a trajectory almost like a ballistic missile, capable of destroying all ground targets," military expert Alexei Leonkov explained to Sputnik.

According to Prava, Russia's Iskander-M "fire god" will become many times more dangerous with its new capabilities. Specifically, while previously this missile system could only attack fixed ground targets, now, with the R-500 "Kalibr" high-precision cruise missile, the Iskander-M can also attack static targets at sea, such as anchored ships.
"The Iskander-M has a trajectory almost like a ballistic missile, capable of destroying all ground targets," military expert Alexei Leonkov explained to Sputnik.
"But with the Kalibr cruise missile, the target of this system would be Type 2 and Type 3 warships, such as the US destroyer Eagle Burke, which is equipped with Tomahawk missiles and the Aegis missile defense system."
The Kalibr missile has a range of up to 500 km and reaches a speed of approximately Mach 3 in its final flight phase.
"The missiles fly at an altitude of only 5-10 meters, rendering almost all defense systems on the ship 'powerless'. The missiles have various warhead sizes, ensuring suitability for all types of targets," Leonkov explained.
