Holiday swapping for 2014 holidays

(Baonghean) - Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 10525/VPCP-KGVX dated December 12, 2013 of the Government Office on Lunar New Year holidays and weekly holidays swapping during 2014 holidays for cadres, civil servants and public employees, the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs has issued a notice for administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations and socio-political organizations to implement the Lunar New Year holidays and weekly holidays swapping during 2014 holidays.

Accordingly, during the Lunar New Year holiday:Officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations (hereinafter referred to as civil servants and public employees) will work on Saturday, January 25, 2014 and Saturday, February 8, 2014 to take days off in exchange for Tuesday, January 28, 2014 and Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Thus, on the occasion of Lunar New Year, civil servants and public employees will have 9 consecutive days off, from Tuesday, January 28, 2014 to Wednesday, February 5, 2014 (ie from December 28, Quy Ty year to January 6, Giap Ngo year).

Holidays on Victory Day April 30 and International Labor Day May 1:Civil servants and public employees will work Saturday, April 26, 2014 to replace Friday, May 2, 2014. Thus, on the occasion of Victory Day, April 30, and International Labor Day, May 1, 2014, civil servants and public employees will have 5 consecutive days off, from April 30, 2014 to May 4, 2014.

National Day holiday September 2:Civil servants and public employees will work on Saturday, September 6, 2014 to replace Monday, September 1, 2014. Thus, on the occasion of National Day holiday, September 2, 2014, civil servants and public employees will have 4 consecutive days off, from August 30, 2014 to September 2, 2014.
