Trial of murder case of journalist Hung Vi postponed

(NAO) This morning, March 18, 2008, Nghe An Provincial People's Court conducted a trial against Le Sy Bao for "murder" and Nguyen Truong Thang, Le Van Thang, Tran Minh Tuan for "failure to report a crime" in the murder case of journalist Nguyen Ba Hung Vy (Reporter of Thuong Mai Newspaper).

The trial was postponed because only Le Sy Bao was on the dock.

However, at the trial, only Le Si Bao was present, the other 3 subjects were absent. Regarding the witnesses, there were only 4/11 people. The reason for the postponement of the trial was only because 2/3 of the witnesses or defendants did not receive the summons from the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province. Even the Commercial Newspaper - the unit managing the victim - did not receive the invitation. The trial will be held on March 28.
