Completed rice relief for people affected by storm No. 2

Implementing Decision No. 1228/QD-TTg dated July 22, 2011 of the Prime Minister on supporting famine relief rice and Decision No. 3100/QD-UBND dated August 8, 2011 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on allocating famine relief rice to people affected by storm No. 2, up to now, the State Reserve Department of Nghe Tinh region has organized the release, transportation and direct delivery to 9 mountainous districts of 1,300 tons of rice, ensuring timeliness and quality. The People's Committees of the districts in the beneficiaries have organized the reception and allocation of budget to continue transporting the above amount of rice to the commune center and remote villages.
