Completion of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa landmark project

(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 25th anniversary of the National Defense Day, and to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, the Youth Union of Cau Giat Town in coordination with the Cau Giat Secondary School Union has just completed and handed over the Hoang Sa & Truong Sa Landmark project at Cau Giat Town Secondary School.

Cau Giat Youth Union and the Junior High School Union took a souvenir photo next to the newly completed Hoang Sa & Truong Sa landmark project.

Carrying out the campaign "Sentiment of border and islands" and to propagate and educate, contributing to raising awareness for youth union members and team members about the importance of borders and islands for national sovereignty and territorial integrity, at the same time, to motivate soldiers in the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland, recently, the Youth Union of Cau Giat town coordinated with the Cau Giat Secondary School Union to mobilize union members, youth and team members, together with the help of departments, organizations, and benefactors in the town to contribute money and effort to build a model of "Hoang Sa and Truong Sa sovereignty milestone" on the campus of Cau Giat Secondary School. The project was started at the end of August 2014. After more than 1 month of construction, the project was completed and handed over to the Cau Giat Secondary School Union for management and use, the project has a total value of more than 13 million VND./.
