Hoang Mai: Responding to "Peak Month of Traffic Safety Year 2014"

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the policy of Hoang Mai Town Party Committee on strengthening traffic safety work in the area, on the morning of June 5, 2014, the Town Youth Union in coordination with the Traffic Safety Committee of Hoang Mai Town organized the launching ceremony to respond to "Peak Activity Month of Traffic Safety Year 2014".

Attending the launching ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Police, leaders of the town, representatives of the Town's departments, agencies, units, communes and wards and more than 500 Youth Union members.

At the launching ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Huu Tuy - Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee, Head of the Town Traffic Safety Committee, read the launching speech; Comrade Le Van Luong - Secretary of the Town Youth Union, representing the Town's youth, called on the Youth Union members to demonstrate their readiness to be proactive, take the lead, and set an example in ensuring traffic safety through specific actions. The Town Youth Union Standing Committee announced the decision to establish and launch the Youth Volunteer Team for first aid and rescue of traffic accident victims on National Highway 1A and in the Town.

After the launching ceremony, the Town Youth Union coordinated with the Town Police to organize a parade and promote the Traffic Safety Law on the main roads of the Town. The launching ceremony of the peak month of traffic safety activities in the year is expected to raise the sense of responsibility and close coordination of all levels, sectors, and socio-political organizations in the implementation process, raise awareness of all people when participating in traffic, and minimize traffic accidents in the area.
