According to the assessment at the conference, in 2017, the province's judicial work was basically and comprehensively implemented, with a focus on key points, achieving many results in all areas. The work of building, appraising, reviewing and inspecting legal documents was carried out methodically, systematically and gradually in depth. The state management of judicial support was strengthened, the quality of judicial administration work was increasingly improved, meeting the needs of the people in issuing judicial records and implementing the Law on Civil Status well.

Up to now, the implementation of civil status software in general, and the issuance of personal identification books in particular in the province, has gradually become systematic, in-depth and effective. This is considered a success in the state management advisory work of the industry, creating a breakthrough contributing to the strong reform of administrative procedures, creating more favorable conditions for individuals and organizations with requests for civil status registration, in the work of statistics, reporting, classification, monitoring, and guiding tasks for the grassroots.

As of December 31, 2017, the province has carried out civil status registration via the shared software system with 97,004 cases, of which birth registration and personal identification number issuance for 59,779 cases (accounting for 61.63%); marriage registration for 11,785 cases (accounting for 12.15%); death registration for 8,653 cases (accounting for 8.92%) and other civil status registration for 16,787 cases (accounting for 17.3%).

However, in addition to the achieved results, the report also pointed out that judicial work still has many limitations. Especially in the process of organizing auctions, there are still situations of "blue army, red army", collusion, price suppression; auction "brokers". Some auctions are violating the law, causing disorder and political security in the locality. Inspection and examination work is still overlapping, causing difficulties for the grassroots, and the implementation of monitoring the implementation of the law is slow due to the lack of clear and timely mechanisms and instructions, etc.

At the conference, delegates also made many comments to effectively implement judicial work in the coming time, focusing on contents related to the enforcement of administrative handling laws, application of information technology, administrative reform in civil status and judicial records, legal aid work, etc.

On that basis, the conference agreed on a number of key tasks in 2018, focusing on promoting administrative reform and applying information technology in management, direction and operation of work, increasing the use of electronic documents; strengthening inspection of compliance with legal regulations, promptly overcoming limitations and shortcomings, strictly handling negative manifestations, especially in the fields of civil status, certification, notarization and asset auction.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the results achieved by the Nghe An Judicial sector in the past year, and at the same time requested the cadres and civil servants of the judiciary sector to make more efforts, overcome the remaining limitations to create a strong change in the judicial work in 2018.

On this occasion, the Department of Legal Documents Development and Inspection - Department of Justice was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister for its achievements in work from 2012 to 2016, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland. Many collectives and individuals were also honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Justice and the Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in judicial work in 2017.
