Study at Agricultural University to farm

With the motto "take short-term to support long-term", the couple boldly borrowed 100 million VND to build barns, focusing on developing livestock.

With a firm grasp of knowledge, Ms. To confidently expanded her pig and chicken farming. Currently, Ms. To's family raises over 1,000 meat chickens and 100 egg-laying hens each year. She also raises 120 pigs and sows, selling over 10 tons of pork each year, earning 70 - 80 million VND.

To make full use of food sources in livestock farming, in 2015, her family dug 2 sao of ponds to raise fish, soft-shell turtles and frogs, bringing high economic value. On the mixed garden area, Ms. To's family converted it into an orchard with all kinds of trees such as longan, grapefruit, Thai jackfruit, guava... From the VAC model, each year, Ms. To's family earns over 500 million VND, after deducting investment costs, they still earn 150 million VND in profit.
