By 12 o'clock on December 3, 2011, 261 students fainted, of which 55 students had a second relapse, 100% of them were female students, occurring in all classes in the entire school, of which more than half of the students did not eat breakfast before going to school. After receiving the information, the Department of Health established a working group to Yen Thanh 3 High School to inspect, and responded to the newspaper as follows: After directly talking with students and teachers in the entire school; Visiting and examining the health of the children who fainted, taking water and air samples for testing, the delegation unanimously concluded that this was a "mass hysteria" - a manifestation of mental illness due to psychological causes, personality traits and psychological trauma. For the District People's Committee and the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department, strengthen propaganda work for neighboring areas, clearly explain the phenomenon of Hysteria; avoid superstitious and deviant thoughts among the people.
