Quynh Luu District has 9 high schools located in the area, of which 7 are located near National Highway 1A, National Highway 48, Provincial Road 537B such as: Quynh Luu I High School, Quynh Luu II High School... Every day, during school hours or after school, many high school students carelessly walk in rows of three or four on the road. In particular, many students also cling to, hold on to, other vehicles such as motorbikes and cars to go to school. They also tease each other, do not pay attention to observe, do not give way to other vehicles. This is one of the causes leading to extremely tragic traffic accidents.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tam, a resident of Cau Giat Town, said: “Every time I go home from work at rush hour, I have to slow down when passing schools to avoid students on the road. Many times, while I was driving, suddenly from the front, some students crossed the road, I had to brake suddenly, it was very dangerous.

To raise traffic awareness among students, it is necessary to have more attention from authorities at all levels, especially schools. There should be propaganda sessions on Road Traffic Law and competitions to raise students' understanding, thereby limiting traffic law violations and minimizing the risk of accidents.
