Quynh Luu district has 9 high schools located in the area, of which 7 are located near National Highway 1A, National Highway 48, Provincial Road 537B such as: Quynh Luu I High School, Quynh Luu II High School... Every day, during school hours or after school, many high school students carelessly line up in threes or fours to walk on the road. In particular, many students also cling to and hold on to other vehicles such as motorbikes and cars to go to school. They also tease each other, do not pay attention to observe, and do not give way to other vehicles. This is one of the causes leading to extremely tragic traffic accidents.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tam, a resident of Cau Giat Town, said: “Every rush hour, on the way home from work, passing by schools, I have to slow down to avoid students on the road. Many times while driving, suddenly from the front, some students lined up across the road, I had to brake suddenly, very dangerous.

To raise traffic awareness among students, it is necessary to have more attention from authorities at all levels, especially schools. There should be propaganda sessions on Road Traffic Law and competitions to raise students' understanding, thereby limiting traffic violations and minimizing the risk of accidents.
