Nghe An students won two fourth prizes at the national science and technology competition.

CompetitionScience and technologyThe national competition for high school students in the 2020-2021 school year was held in Thua Thien Hue province from March 25 to 27, 2021. This is the 9th time the competition has been held with the participation of 69 units with 141 projects, including 113 projects of high school students and 28 projects of middle school students.

At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to 91 projects, including 12 first prizes, 19 second prizes, 26 third prizes and 34 fourth prizes.

In this year's competition, Nghe An delegation has 2 projects participating and the special thing is that these are 2 projects of secondary school students. These 2 projects won first prize at the Provincial Science and Technology Competition.

As a result, both of these projects were awarded the Fourth Prize by the Organizing Committee. That is the project Using starch and Gelatin to produce organic packaging materials for spices - Chemistry field, authors Le Huy Thanh and Tran Phuong Linh, students of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School - Vinh city.

The second project that won the Fourth Prize was the Project "Research on separation and use of natural fibers from snake plant leaves" in the field of Materials Science by authors Nguyen Thi Anh Thu and Nguyen Thi Le Na, students of Hoa Hieu 1 Secondary School - Thai Hoa Town.
