Nghe An students excited about the experience 'I make traditional paper fans'

Joining the children in the experience were two skilled craftsmen from Nam village, Mr. Le Van Trung and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu. This is also a traditional paper fan craft village that has been formed for hundreds of years, originating from the villagers themselves. Over time, the craft village has maintained the traditional manual method to create small fans made of bamboo and wind paper and used in the daily life of Nghe people. Photo: My Ha |

As part of this experience program, students visited the museum, were introduced to the craft village, demonstrated fan making by skilled craftsmen and experienced some steps to complete a paper fan. Another content that students also loved was the paper fan decoration competition, demonstrating their creativity and artistic talent. The experience program “I make traditional paper fans” aims to help students understand more and be proud of traditional crafts in Nghe An. From there, it contributes to educating them to appreciate and preserve the long-standing cultural values that our ancestors left behind.
