Experience and evaluation of the pilot model of heritage economic development in Nghe An
On the afternoon of July 28, at Nghe An Museum, the Department of Culture and Sports organized an activity to experience and evaluate the pilot model of heritage economic development.
Attending the event were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; representatives of leaders of travel and tourism companies and press and media units.

Attending the program, delegates enjoyed the Vi and Giam folk song performance program of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center and experienced "Discovering the quintessence" of Nghe An Museum.

Pursuant to Decision No. 2425/QD-UBND dated July 14, 2021 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on approving the project description "Research, assessment of the current situation and proposal of solutions for developing heritage economy in Nghe An province", from 2022 to present, the Department of Culture and Sports, Nghe An Monuments Management Board (the unit in charge of implementing the project) has implemented the above project. Including the content of building a model of sightseeing and experiencing heritage economy associated with typical types of heritage.

After conducting a survey at a number of tourist attractions in Nghe An province, the Project Management Board unanimously chose Nghe An Museum and Ho Chi Minh Square to carry out the task of building and selecting a model for sightseeing and experience.

The Project Management Board has selected the following experiential models: At Ho Chi Minh Square, practicing the performance of Vi and Giam folk songs. Artists and Vi and Giam folk song clubs perform and directly interact with the audience and visitors.
At Nghe An Museum, there will be an experience of making Tru Son pottery, Quy Chau incense and interacting with the Museum's typical artifacts. Here, artisans making clay pots from Tru Son clay pot village and artisans making Quy Chau incense will practice and guide how to make traditional handicraft products.

Associated with these activities is an experience space, displaying some traditional craft products and experience models of incense making and clay pot making so that visitors can experience and interact and buy the products as souvenirs.
This successful experience model will contribute to diversifying activities at the museum to attract more and more visitors to Nghe An Museum; raise public awareness in preserving and promoting heritage values, and at the same time, gradually replicate the model at museums and tourist attractions in the province.

After experiencing the activities, the Project Management Board organized an assessment of the pilot model of heritage economic development, under the topic "Research, assessment of the current situation and proposal of solutions for heritage economic development in Nghe An province".
