Phan School students give gifts to 14 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers
(Baonghean.vn) - With all their hearts, a group of students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted came to give gifts to express gratitude to 14 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers living in Vinh City.
On October 22, 42 students from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted visited and gave gifts to heroic Vietnamese mothers living in Vinh City on the occasion of October 20.
Despite the heavy rain, the children still gathered early, divided into 6 teams to give gifts including clothes, milk cakes... and a small amount of money to the mothers.
Hoang My Hieu, a 12th grade student in C6, who came up with the idea for the program, shared, "We wanted to do something to honor heroic Vietnamese mothers, especially on the occasion of October 20.
Although these are just small gifts, we want to show the gratitude and respect of the young generation for the sacrifices of our mothers."

"Because we have to go to school during the week, we had to hold the ceremony later for the mothers. Before organizing the program, we asked for the school's permission," Hieu added.
To prepare for the program, the students have been planning for 2 months. From asking for the list to preparing gifts for the mothers themselves.
Student Ta Bao Anh Ngoc, class 11C6, a member participating in the program, said that when she saw the seniors calling for members to participate, she registered to be a volunteer because she saw this as a meaningful action.
"When I give gifts with my own hands, see their smiles, and talk with the mothers, I feel more mature, knowing how to love, care for, and help those around me," Hoang My Hieu confided.
