On August 17, in Hanoi, the Central Party Secretariat held a conference of key officials of Party committees, Party delegations, Party executive committees of ministries, branches, central organizations, provincial and municipal Party Committees in the Northern region to disseminate and implement Directive 03-CT/TW of the Politburo and Plan 03-KH/TW of the Secretariat on continuing to promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

Opening the Conference, Politburo member and Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh emphasized: Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality are the crystallization of the nation's fine traditions and the cultural quintessence of humanity, a priceless spiritual asset of the Party and people of Vietnam, and a shining example for all Vietnamese people to learn and follow.

The results of the implementation of the Campaign "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" in recent years have affirmed that studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example is both urgent and immediate, and has fundamental and long-term significance for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland of the entire Party, army and people.

On that basis, the 11th Party Congress decided to make studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example a regular task in the Party and society.

Standing member of the Secretariat Le Hong Anh stated that the purpose of continuing to promote studying and following Uncle Ho's moral example is to promote the achieved results, overcome the limitations in implementing the campaign to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's moral example in the past time, continue to make the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army deeply aware of the basic contents and great values ​​of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; create a stronger and more profound change in the awareness of self-cultivation, training, and improvement of revolutionary morality, fight against individualism, opportunism, and pragmatism, push back the degradation of political ideology, morality, lifestyle, and corruption and negative evils; contribute to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress.

The Politburo requested that continuing to promote the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example must become a regular task and responsibility of Party committees and organizations at all levels, and of each cadre and Party member. In Plan No. 03-KH/TW, the Secretariat identified 8 specific groups of tasks to be carried out during the 11th term.

The Standing Secretariat requested delegates to study and thoroughly grasp the purposes, requirements and basic contents of the Politburo's Directive and the Secretariat's Implementation Plan; exchange and discuss the responsibilities of the Party Executive Committee, Party Delegation, and Standing Committees of Party Committees at all levels in implementing the Politburo's Directive and the Secretariat's Plan; the main tasks and methods to effectively implement the Directive; contribute to raising awareness and strengthening the trust of cadres, Party members and people in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example.

At the Conference, the leaders of the Central Propaganda Department and the Secretariat's Support Unit introduced the basic contents of Directive 03-CT/TW of the Politburo, Plan 03-KH/TW of the Secretariat and provided guidance on the organization and implementation; provided guidance on the development of working regulations for the support units of Party committees at all levels to continue promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's moral example. The delegates discussed and proposed solutions to make the implementation of the Politburo's Directive and the Secretariat's Plan truly effective, practical, and in-depth, avoiding formalities, meeting the expectations of the entire Party, people, and army.

Concluding the Conference, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Dinh The Huynh emphasized: Every content and every task stated in the Politburo's Directive and the Secretariat's Plan are very important, need to be fully grasped, grasped and proactively and creatively implemented. Delegates attending the Conference need to have a correct perception, deep understanding and determination in action to promptly turn the policy of the 11th Party Congress "regularly studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh" into reality.

Studying must be closely linked to following Uncle Ho's morality, demonstrated through practical and concrete actions.

Party committees at all levels must attach special importance to linking this task with the implementation of political tasks and the Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress in their localities and units. Identify a number of specific contents and a number of ideological and ethical issues that are causing concerns in the sector, locality, agency and unit to focus on directing to bring about specific results, strengthening the trust of cadres, party members and people. Actively studying and following Uncle Ho's moral example must be considered a top priority to improve the Party's capacity and fighting strength.

Party committees at all levels, authorities, agencies and units need to pay special attention to the issue of building and implementing ethical standards, professional ethics, and training and educating ethics for the younger generation, cadres and party members.

In addition to promoting the spirit of self-awareness in studying and following Uncle Ho's morality, the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, especially key leaders and heads of agencies, localities and units, needs to be clearly defined; at the same time, it is necessary to develop and implement well the inspection regulations of the Party organization and the people's supervision of cadres and party members.

Party committees at all levels should pay due attention to the inspection and supervision of the implementation process, so that studying and following Uncle Ho's moral example becomes a regular and voluntary task of each organization and individual. Propaganda work, especially propaganda about advanced models in studying and following Uncle Ho's example, needs to be done well, so that the good is promptly discovered, encouraged and promoted; the bad is condemned, prevented and gradually eliminated.
