Van Quyen's students won big against U19 HAGL on the opening day.
(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Pham Bui Minh, Pham Van Quyen and coach Le Ky Phuong's students at U19 SLNA had a smooth start in Group A - National U19 Finals 2021 after easily defeating U19 HAGL.
The first minutes of the opening match on March 30,U19 SLNAand U19 HAGL both had to play very carefully to get a good result in the opening match. However, with better physical strength and skills, Dinh Xuan Tien and his teammates created many dangerous situations on the opponent's goal.
In the first half, U19 SLNA focused all their efforts on attacking and created 2 situations that made U19 HAGL's goal shake.
First was a header by Ho Van Cuong and then a powerful long-range shot by Dao Ngoc Tu. However, both dangerous situations that could have led to this goal were brilliantly cleared by goalkeeper Bao Duy. The first half ended with a score of 0-0.

In the second half, U19 SLNA actively increased the pressure on HAGL's goal. In the 49th minute, Tran Ngoc Dung shot very hard from a distance but once again goalkeeper Bao Duy successfully blocked it. However, it was not until the 54th minute that striker Ho Van Cuong headed the ball again and defeated the goalkeeper of U19 HAGL to score the opening goal for U19 SLNA.
Conceding a goal, U19 HAGL became more eager to equalize and left many gaps. In the 60th minute, Dinh Xuan Tien received a pass from his teammate and scored in an open position. In the 90th minute, Ho Van Cuong completed his double, scoring a simple goal, sealing a 3-0 victory for U19 SLNA.
In the next match atNational U19 Finals 2021, U19 SLNA will meet B. Binh Duong on April 2 before facing U19 PVF in the final match of the group stage.
