"Military Semester" students participate in extracurricular activities at Ngu Island

(Baonghean.vn) -As part of the series of activities of the "Military Semester" class, on the morning of June 20, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee coordinated with the Provincial Military Command and the Department of Education and Training to organize extracurricular activities for students at Ngu Island.

Here, 100 students participating in the military semester class visited the island's military facilities, learned how to fire long-range live ammunition on artillery platforms, visited trenches and observation posts, and learned how to detect strange ships at sea.

During this trip, the students were also told about the history of Ngu Island by the Island Chief - Lieutenant Colonel Vuong Kiem Cuong and provided with some information about the situation of the sea and islands to help students equip themselves with more information and knowledge about military at sea.
