Vinh City Red Cross Association gives gifts to policy beneficiaries

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 24, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, the Vinh City Red Cross Society presented gifts to 10 families of war invalids, relatives of martyrs, and families with meritorious services to the revolution.

The Association visited and presented gifts to the families of Mr. Tran Van Thanh (1/4 disabled soldier, in Hung Binh ward), Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung (3/4 disabled soldier, in Trung Do ward), Mr. Bui Dinh Tri (3/4 disabled soldier), Mr. Tran Duc Thao (1/3 disabled soldier, in Truong Thi ward), and relatives of martyrs including: Mrs. Ho Thi Hien (in Le Loi ward), Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bay (in Nghi An commune) and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mai (in Nghi Lien commune), Mrs. Vo Thi Tam (in Hung Loc commune), Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xuan (in Hung Phuc ward). Each gift is worth 500 thousand VND.

At the above families, Mr. Dang Hung - Chairman of the City Red Cross Society visited the health of martyrs' mothers, wounded and sick soldiers, and encouraged the families to overcome pain and loss and rise up in life.
