Talks between high-ranking delegations of Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 2, in Vinh City, a meeting took place between the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province and the high-ranking delegation of Xieng Khouang province, Lao PDR.

Attending the meeting, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Ho Duc Phoc, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee as head of the delegation; comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrade Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, agencies, and localities. On the side of Xieng Khouang province, there were: Comrade Som-cot Mang-no-mech, member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Governor of Xieng Khouang province as head of the delegation, leaders of the Provincial Government Committee and representatives of a number of departments, agencies, agencies, and localities.

The delegation of Xieng Khouang province listened to the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee report on the achievements that Uncle Ho's homeland has made in socio-economic development, national defense and security.

At the meeting, the two delegations informed each other about the socio-economic development, national defense and security situation in 2014 and the first 6 months of 2015 in each province; jointly assessed the results achieved and the shortcomings in the implementation of the Minutes of the working results of the two high-ranking delegations of the two provinces signed on July 27, 2014 in Phon Sa Van town, Xieng Khouang province.

Before that, the two delegations offered flowers at Ho Chi Minh Square, respectfully reporting to President Ho Chi Minh the good results in the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang.

The Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committees of Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces, on behalf of the delegation, offered fresh flower baskets to the statue of President Ho Chi Minh.

In the spirit of openness, trust and mutual understanding, comrade Ho Duc Phoc and comrade Som-cot Mang-no-mech, the two heads of delegations, signed the Minutes of the results of the cooperation program between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces in 2015-2016.

The two provinces agreed to direct relevant agencies to complete procedures so that in the third quarter of 2015, they can decide to open and inaugurate a pair of secondary border gates at Hoi Khe village, Muong Ai commune (Ky Son) and Xam Che village, Loong Ho, Muong Moc district (Xieng Khouang). The two provinces will strengthen the direction of joint expert teams to resolve illegal migration and unregistered marriages in the border area...

On this occasion, the two heads of the delegations exchanged gifts to express the warm friendship and solidarity between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces. Comrade Som-cot Mang-no-mech respectfully invited Comrade Ho Duc Phoc and the high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province to visit and work in Xieng Khouang province at a suitable time. Comrade Ho Duc Phoc respectfully thanked and accepted the invitation, the specific time will be agreed upon later.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented a gift showing solidarity between Nghe An and Xieng Khouang provinces.

In response to the affection of Nghe An province for the working delegation, the Secretary of the Xieng Khouang Provincial Party Committee also presented gifts to the leaders of Nghe An province.
