The Central Council of Young Pioneers gives 1,000 gifts to poor students
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 14, at Chau Khe Secondary School, Con Cuong District, the Central Council of Young Pioneers coordinated with 'Youth Magazine - The Person in Charge' to organize the program "Warm Tet for Children" and the Ceremony to honor children with excellent achievements in studying and training in the 2016 school year.
Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Long Hai - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers, comrade Hoang Tu Anh - Director of the Center for Support and Development of Vietnamese Children; Mr. Le Van Cau - Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Magazine - Person in charge, representatives of Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group VNPT, Vietcombank.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of Con Cuong District Party Committee, Pham Tuan Vinh - Secretary of Provincial Youth Union; Board of Directors, teachers and a large number of students of Chau Khe Secondary School.

This time, the Youth Union joined hands with businesses to bring early Tet gifts to Chau Khe students through many meaningful activities: organizing cultural exchanges, awarding 43 prizes to exemplary children in studying and training; more than 1,000 gifts including warm clothes, books, toys, and necessities for students.

On this occasion, the Central Council of Young Pioneers also organized a Banh Chung Wrapping Festival to help children understand more about traditional history and love the unique cultural features of the Vietnamese people.

This is a meaningful activity of the Central Council of Young Pioneers. Through this program, it has contributed to promoting the effectiveness of educational activities in mountainous areas.
