Nghe Tinh Association in Da Nang: Supporting Nghe An students

(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe - Tinh Association in Da Nang organized the "Supporting Nghe An Candidates in 2014" campaign with nearly 400 volunteers who are Nghe An students studying and working in Da Nang City. The support activities for candidates started from June 23 to July 16 at all examination locations, train stations, bus stations and on many main roads in the city.

The launching ceremony of "Supporting Nghe An scholars in 2014" has just taken place with the participation of 200 volunteers.

Mr. Ho Anh Son, Deputy Director of Company 545, Head of the Association's Education Promotion Board, and Commander-in-Chief of the campaign, said that volunteers helped candidates from Nghe An and Ha Tinh register for university entrance exams at schools in Da Nang City to find exam locations, provide advice on lodging, support more than 100 free accommodations, support free meals for candidates and their families; establish teams of vehicles to transport candidates and support their travel, and guide and direct traffic to ensure traffic safety at exam locations.

The special feature of this year's Campaign is that volunteers will work at the checkpoints 24/7. With a large and enthusiastic force, Nghe An Volunteers will do their best to bring confidence to candidates from Nghe Tinh before the exam. It is expected that 2,000 candidates from Nghe Tinh as well as other distant provinces will be supported during this year's exam season by Nghe Tinh Volunteers.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Volunteers deployed their plans and tasks according to their assigned teams, groups and locations.

Once again, the Nghe Tinh Association in Da Nang and the Nghe people in Da Nang demonstrated the sense of responsibility of the youth and the spirit of turning towards their homeland. This is an extremely meaningful and practical activity, further fostering the studious spirit of Nghe Tinh people.
